Dotted with vast spectacular alpine lakes, towering snow-capped peaks, permanently frozen glaciers, and giant waterfalls, this adventure must be experienced to be believed.

Day 1: Cowboy Country

Welcome Cocktails

Nestled against the foothills of the colossal Rocky Mountains is the city of Calgary. This city embodies Canada’s pioneer culture and hosts the massive Calgary Stampede rodeo.  Enjoy the surrounding scenery, the country western music, and an authentic restaurant for a welcome dinner.

Day 2: The Badlands

186 mi (300 km)

You’ll ride through the “Badlands”. Part of the striking natural beauty you’ll enjoy are the spectacularly deep ravines, steep canyons and towering pillars of multicoloured rock called "hoodos". The geography in this region holds secrets. It’s one of the world's richest locales for dinosaur fossils. Later today, you’ll get a chance to examine recovered Tyrannosaurus Rex remains at the Royal Tyrrell Museum

Day 3: Heart of the Rockies

217 mi (350 km)

Now you’ve travelled deep into the Canadian Rockies. These mountains dwarf everything around them, in some places pushing some 4 km into the sky. They’re home to wildlife as diverse as grizzly bears, moose, and mountain goats. You’ll continuously be confronted with jaw-dropping scenery and natural wonders: the unimaginable height of the jagged snow-capped mountains that dominate the skyline, the scale of the icy glaciers, and massive waterfalls.

Day 4: Jasper to Golden

186 mi (300 km)

You're riding through Jasper National Park, internationally recognized and protected by law and unmatched in its extraordinary raw natural beauty. At over 4,000 square mi (11 000 square km), it's the largest park in the country. Sheets of ice permanently cover vast areas of this harsh northern region, yet it supports a fantastic diversity of animal life ranging from beavers and porcupines to elk and caribou.

Day 5: Lake Louise

155 mi (250 km)

A must for all those who pass through this part of the Rockies is a stop at Radium Hot Springs. Take a few hours today to enjoy the heavenly relaxing effect of its world famous, naturally hot mineral pools. Later, enjoy the extraordinary view at the famous Lake Louise.

Day 6: Banff National Park - World Heritage Site

62 mi (100 km)

Next stop: Banff. Established in 1885, Banff is Canada’s oldest national park and designated by the United Nations as a World Heritage Site. This amazing region is one of the country’s greatest natural treasures. Slow down, or better yet, stop, and take the time to marvel at the park's sweeping alpine landscapes, ice fields, and dense forests. At the end of the day, a special farewell dinner awaits you.
